President Nelson Mandela and Madame Graca Machel;
President F.W. de Klerk and Madame Elita de Klerk;
Distinguished Premiers and Speakers of our Provinces;
Mayors and leaders in our system of local government;
Our honoured traditional leaders;
Heads of the state organs supporting our constitutional democracy;
Directors-General and other leaders of the public service;
Your Excellencies, Ambassadors and High Commissioners;

When she died, we knew that Mama Adelaide Tambo had been recently discharged from hospital. But because we also knew that she had the tenacity of spirit and strength of will to soldier on among the living, we had intended to welcome her and other members of her family as our guests on this august occasion. But that was not to be.

Added-Asset meets with the Royal Bank of Scotland to assist with overseas banking for SA businesses

Peter Hurst (Added-Asset) met with David Millet of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and was given enthusiastic support to introduce South African clients to the RBS to meet their UK or international banking needs through the London head office. Added-Asset will be pleased to offer assistance and information on how to open a business account in the UK supported by the RBS team.

You only have between 5-10 seconds at the most to impress and be short-listed. In those 5-10 seconds, it is not necessarily the most qualified person who will be put in the shortlist pile, but it is the one who is the best at being able to get noticed by his or her CV. This requires a combination of good content and attractive appearance.

It is an established fact that recruiters look for any reason to dismiss CVs as the first stage of processing the hundreds of CVs they often receive. If a CV does not impress at first glance, it's going to get trashed.
